I have a 1997 Challenger 1800, I need a new scupper valve and I have the old flapper style that has be discontinued. Which one of the new ball types can I get? I see the one at West Marine but it doesn't have a size, just want to make sure I get the correct one. Thanks for your help.

Can't really go wrong with scupper valves. I bought one but you almost have to replace them every 1-2 years or so.

This is what I did...

Seadoo Part Number 204060188
Keep old outer ring (Scupper Clamp)
Sandwich outer ring between boat and new scupper.
Longer screws needed (#8 x 3/4'') stainless.

Since the 97 Challenger 1800 and 97 Speedster have all the same part numbers for the original Scupper assembly the above should work for you.

Good luck
