An '04's stock sc boost is something like 7lbs. An X wheel's boost is something like 10lbs.

As for the XX?....sorry. can't help you at the moment. Be forewarned...you add that much boost over your stocker...you will have to add a bunch of goodies to compensate for the extra boost.

Did some more checking around...

The x wheel should see around 11-11.5 lbs of boost


The Riva XX wheel cranks out 14.5lbs of boost at 8500rpm. Which means you'd need an ecu upgrade, better valve springs, more fuel...of course, an exic, prolly a rfpr for peace of mind, taller prop.

How bad has the bug bitten you?

from what im seein the ECUs are for the newer stuff 07 and up
i caller riva and they dont make them for me anymore boo hoo
I just put exhaust valves in and should have could have put
intakes in while i was there its not that big of a tear down --BUT---
after talking to PPG not everything is a must but some is
exhaust--LOUDER-- its not a must unless your trying to grab everything
as in the racing world---SC injectors fuel reg theres the instant HP
valves springs theres the reliability of it, im lookin around 3 grand to go fast

Ha Red2Blue, with the X-SC--and injectors I no they have a different inter cooler,
is everything else the same and will it have the same HP ass the 255??
the prop on them is a 15--21, I am stuck at 8100 RPMs
I am limited on how fast I can go with what I have to work with...

I hate to bust your bubble...but to take every advantage of the bigger wheels you're gonna have to get more r's.

One last thing...even with the same motor as an rxpx...that's right..taking the same motor from his to yours....you aren't going to do as well. Why? your pump tunnel is smaller. What's that mean?...your prop will never see the water it'll need to run as fast as that in an rxpx...in real world conditions.

....true story. While my ski was basically stock..except for a 4" front air intake and a coupla other freebies...i had a chance to run against a stage 3 rxp. I killed him...I was running a heavier ski with less horse power and I killed him. why? the water conditions were less than ideal. he couldn't keep all that power on the water...and when he wasn't on the water...he wasn't feeding his pump..wasn't going very fast.

You'll be in the same position unless you have like glass conditions.

Dunno 'bout you but I see conditions like that maybe 2-3 times a year.

what year RXP-X hull did they change in?
from when to when?
in your apinion with the X charger injectors 4' intake, grate,wedge
what prop and how fast is out there for me???

The RXP-X in '08 got the same (...or there abouts) tunnel as the RXT's.

With an X wheel, exic, 42's, grate, wedge plus the freebies and a 15/20 you should see 76-77mph...however....tipping 80 wouldn't be impossible with everything tweeked to the nines.

if i have a X-SC cover and wheel and i buy the base plate--other half--
will any of my stock red SC fill the rest? shaft bearings and so forth?

Send the new x wheel and front plus you old sc to Jerry Gaddis.

I sent him an oem charger and an old S3 wheel and front. He rebuilt it with new bearings, washers ect for the cost of the rebuild kit and labor. Best, price, workmanship and turn around you can find.

X charger cover and wheel and have the stock red charger machined
to except it,,,,, you no anything about that?? and if this can be done
will the shaft and bearings work in the X charger from the red charger???
