SBT engine alignment tool vs home made

Following tips online i made the Mcmaster home made alignment tool, not being satisfied that it worked I bought
the alignment tool from SBT. Once i installed the new tool i found the alignment was off enough that i couldn't force
the pole into the splines on the motor. New shims and adjustment and now the tool goes in perfectly. But now
i have a $300 alignment tool

Where are you located ? I am in central Calif and I will pay to rent it ? You could probably make your money back fast renting it out with a big deposit ?

Oh wow you’re right that’s far as her to get dang to bad ! I would have gladly rented it from you But shipping so high right now I could probably almost buy one for the price of shipping
