I've beached my boat to avoid a crash, filled prop with gravel. Now on acceleration, limited go yet ample rpms. Is there a clutch of some type that could have slipped and now slipping on every hard take off?
Look thru the intake grate (under the ski) and see if something is on the driveshaft or impeller. If OK then you probably damaged the impeller wear ring (plastic ring around the impeller). You'll have to pull the jet pump in order to replace it. Let us know.
Yea, but somestimes hard to see unless you remove the pump. If you can see alot of daylite and grooves between the impeller and the wear ring then it is time to replace it.
