Picked up 2 of these a few months ago and love them. (Both are 2003) The other day we were out riding and my son and I dumped ours over and it didn't right itself. No big deal, I grabbed the grate and flipped it back over the correct direction, it was upside down maybe 15 sec but what is alarming is how much water got into the hull! There was water all the way up to the pto and the seat cushion was full of water and heavy as hell. Is this normal for these things? I don't see how there could be soo much water that got into the hull that fast...On another note, the speedo is inop on both, would a new "water wheel" fix this or do I need a whole new sending unit? I know these things are common for failure. I have already done a rectifier and both trim motors and new boots, that ok, we freakin love these things. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get it running?
If so just dry everything out mostly electrical connections.
The speedo sending units are common to fail. I would get a new one.
