RXDi Concerns

I own a 2002 RXDi for about three months now. I havn't had any problems really. But I have recently heard of some issues with these models. Specifically that there is no warning for the sub system components that could fail, and that could lead to big big problems. Could anyone tell me if what the deal is with these machines. I was told to sell it after the summer. What gives??
