I ran my ski in some shallow water and picked up some rocks. Shut the engine off. Put on trailer and took it home. Look and found that it chewed up the impeller and the wear ring pretty bad. In fact, still have a couple of rocks lodged in the impeller blades. Ordered new impeller and wear ring. The veins in the pump housing are chewed up as well. A couple are crewed up pretty good. I took a die grinder and cleaned up the rough edges. My question is, how critical are these veins to the performance of the ski. Will this have any other effect on the ski?
