Replacing seals on oil reservoir

I have a 2000 Seadoo GTI and the oil reservoir is leaking at the seam. I have ordered a new reservoir but I am not sure how to remove the 90 degree elbow on the bottom and the fitting for the oil return on the top of the reservoir. It looks like they would just pull out but they don't and I don't want to break them. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Also, once I have installed the new oil reservoir is there anything else I need to do before starting the engine? I read that you should do a pressure test on the system but don't know if this is really neccessary.:banghead:
