so everybody has told me that the bogging/surging at full throttle on my 96 seadoo xp, my question is would it be ok to replace the fuel lines with regular black automotive fuel tubing, or would the tubing get to hot and burn?

looks like you have a '96 XP. is it a 787 engine? i used all 1/4" on my 96 GSX. don't think I've ever seen anyone say they used anything other than 1/4".

Dr. Honda just logged in, He will know if there is something different about your ski.

ya its a 96 i think its 787 there is small gray hoses in the seadoo but i was thinking just doing the normal fuel lines. oh and who is Dr. Honda?

Hey Doc Honda, can you confirm fuel hose size here

Does he really need 2 different size fuel lines as he read somewhere or just all 1/4"?

also have read that 2 sizes are required - Need to replace my '96 GSX lines - The manual calls for all 6mm tubing (1/4")

you need 20' of 1/4 inch fuel line for doing a 787 x4. you nedd 20" and about 20 1/4 inch hose clamps. the 5/16 inch line is for 951 carb setups. also you should rebuild the carbs, with oem minuki kits and replace the needle and seat. or at the very least clean your inturnal fillters. also take your fuel selector apart and clean it or replace it.
