Great site guys looks like a lot of knowledge.
After the first trip out on my "New Ski" (95 SPX 657X), it became pretty clear that it needed the carbs serviced. 2 of the 4 bolts came out no problem, the other 2 would not submit. I ended up pulling the R.V. cover to work on the whole thing on the bench. One of the carb castings cracked while being worked on.
I ended up getting a really clean set off of eBay, for a 95 GTX, should I expect any difference in performance as a result, should I consider swapping jets?
