racerxxx Moderator Moderator Jun 2, 2016 #2 Most guys use a heat gun to soften the decals. I do that and use a strait blade to start. But you have to be careful you don't dig into the gel coat

Sloanman7 Active Member Jun 2, 2016 #3 i found some plastic razor blades a lowes works pretty good to get started and once decal is off i used goo gone to wipe the residue off.

Spimothy Leary Well-Known Member Jun 3, 2016 #6 < had bad luck with the eraser wheel, bought two and ended up reselling them both. heat gun has been my tool of choice for yrs. plastic razor is a good idea tho.
