R+D Racing manifold and reed stuffers 951

If anyone is interested, I have a used R+D Racing performance intake manifold and reed stuffers for a 951cc. The intake manifold has the factory holes for the oil injection check valves. If you use premix, you can fill the holes with petroleum resistant epoxy. The holes were filled when I took it off, but I drilled out the epoxy, being careful not to widen the holes.

Good condition overall, some stains, scratches, and gasket residue on the manifold. The reed stuffers are perfect. This setup retails for close to $300 new. Gimme' $85 and $8 shipping and its yours!

Im very interested in those parts, I am looking at a set of v-force reeds new in the box, and heard I need an aftermarket intake for them, I dont know if this intake will work with them, but If you can provide me with a part number I will call r&d and ask them. thanks

Click on the links for the part numbers. Let me know if you're still interested. Due to the lack of interest here, I'm going to be listing these parts on eBay on Wed. or Thurs. Are you using premix or oil injection? Honestly, I think the best bet would be premix and filling in the check valve holes for this particular manifold. I would assume the holes are the correct size for the factory OI check valves, but I have no idea how to install them. I bought and installed a set of factory manifolds just to make sure, since I'm converting mine back to OI.

I only run premix, if you need the oil pump hoses and oil pump drive shaft I still have mine if you would like them maybe we could work something out. I am very interested and I am going to call and see if that intake will work with the reeds I am looking to buy. I am also looking for a reed/intake spacer set.

Sounds good. I'll try to figure out how to post a couple photos. As mentioned earlier, the manifold has some cosmetic flaws, but its straight and has no functional problems whatsoever. I doubt it was used more than 25 hours. I've already assembled all the parts to convert back to OI, but I appreciate the offer. Thanks!

you can shoot me the pictures in an email if that makes it easier for you........kingslandj@verizon.net...thanks

I am still interested in the parts, but after lloking them up the one you have pictured is the cast version and not the billet, it says the cast model is for oem reeds, and the billet is for dom carbs and m-16 reeds, so I am going to call them this afternoon due to the time differance and see if yours can be ran with the vforce aftermarket reeds

alright....I just got off the phone with R&D and they will work...I just have to modify them to open the ports on the intake to match the opening of the reeds......Another wards if you can send me some pictures of them, you have a buyer....please send me an email .......

kingslandj@verizon.net

thanks

I'm going to work on the overheating issue over the next two days. If I discover that the engine was severely damaged by the overheating, I will decide whether to part it out or eat the cost of a new engine. I'll let you know on your e-mail immediately once I figure out what I'm going to do. Thanks

Nope, its on my SeaDoo to stay at this point. I tried to put the stock intakes back on, planning to go back to oil injection. The result was a huge intake leak. I'm going to put the oil injectors into the drilled ports in the R and D once the weather makes me quit riding for a few months. Aluminum just beats plastic hands down, so its there permanently at this point!
