Hi,
I´m sorry if my english is not correct but I´m from Sweden and I have a problem with my GTX RFI 2001.
I bought it a couple a days ago and it has been in a garage for mor then a year. When I put it in the water everything was ok first but after a while I heard that the engine was loosing power. Allmost like a car when you have damp or dirt in the fuel. But it was still running pretty god.
After a little more time 1-2 hours (I didnt ride all the time so the engine was not on all the time) it got worse and it did not get all the rpm out. The speed was not more then 25-30 mph instead of 45-50 mph.
I dont know what to do. I´m pretty new at this and I´m not good with engines. Should I put something in the fuel that cleans the fuel? I know that the gasstations have that. Should I change the sparking plug? Or should I call a service technician or go to a repair shop?
Have anybody else had the same problem? Is it totaly broken?
Best regards
Mats
