Anyone with a 2000 speedster if you could do me a favor and take some pics of your steering column. A video of it moving left to right would really be helpful. I am having to replace the gearbox the steering wheel hooks onto and i want to make sure it matches up correctly. there are some different ways you can put the stop block in and different ways and adjustments. I had an issue where i could move the steering wheel from center it took 90 degrees to go full left turn and 180 degrees to go full right. i think someone messed with it before i bought it so i want to check a default config and make sure it is put in the correct way. Thanks a ton in advance for any help.

Thanks a ton. As many photos and videos of the steering the better. i am just trying to make sure i get this all right. how is your speedster treating you. just bought mine last monday. anything i should know or do?

We just got ours in July and have had a few little issues with it. When we have had it running it has been great. We used to have a Sea Doo Explorer but sold it about 3 yrs ago.

The big pain in the rear was when we lost a back cushion on the 401. I managed to find one on ebay but is doesn't really fit right. Luckily I found someone selling a set of 2002 speedster cushions here in Ontario so I am going to grab them. I now cover my boat when towing. lol.

that is probably a good idea. Cant wait for the pics. this stupid steering wheel is the only thing that is really a problem. Cant complain though i got the boat with the monster tower bars with 2 speakers on it. trailer, huge two person tube, and a wakeboard for 5100. so that is good. stickers need some replacing but i think i am going to just remove them and get stuff painted on.

Perfect. Can you confirm when the steering wheel is centered its about 180 degrees to the right for a full right turn and a 180 degrees to the left for a full left turn. Before i replaced the steering box it was 180 degrees to the right and 90 degrees to the left. Also i had to disconnect the throttle at idle cable because even with the set screw all the way out it would still give it a ton of gas when going to the right. I am still waiting on my new steering box though. Hopefully that fixes it. Thanks a ton for your help on this.

I will see what I can do for ya. I may just center the wheel and snap a pic for ya. I have some video but is is too dark to bother posting. If I have time tonight I will try and grab some new footage.
