Performance inlet grate question

I have a 95 GTX and was wandering if I install a high performance inlet grate what would be the advantages and disadvantages? How would it affect take off, handling and top speed?

I have the same machine and am wondering where you got the intake grate?

I was looking into getting one for my own 95 GTX.
