Ormond Beach / Daytona Beach, Where to launch & Ride

Vacationing in Ormond Beach in July and thought about bringing the skis. Where is the best place to launch? Can i get to the ocean side? Am i allowed to pull the skis up to the shore? I know you can drive on the beach, can i just back the trailer in there or is that not allowed?
