Oily line on hull under carbon ring

Hey guys i just noticed this on my hull under carbon ring. Is it something to worry about? If so how shoumd i fix it? Everything seems to be runnning fine.

It's from excessive wear on the carbon ring. You can see your's is out of alignment and someone has tried to put more tension on it with the "ziptie trick".

Oh yea thats me! So i replaced the bellows and heard of that ziptie trick. So should i remove ziptie?

If you replaced the bellows you shouldn't need the ziptie. That is just a bandaid fix for a worn out one.

You are probably going to find that the carbon part is worn funky now.

To put it simply, if it’s slack it’s worn out. Needs to be replaced.
