oil tank

2001 gtx oil tank is leaking. easy to replace? does it have to be pressurized? thx!

don't know yet. a mechanic said to make sure the new tank gets pressurized and that a special tool was required. any thoughts?

No special tool needed. I have know idea what he is talking about with pressurizing the tank, unless he is saying to do that to find the leak. Its pretty easy to tell. If the oil tank has a seem all the way around it then it could be that, or the O-ring at the bottom of it. I just changed mine out in about 10 min.
