oil filter cap seal keeps pushing out

hey guys, i was wondering if anyone has had problems with the big o-ring on the cap to the oil filter cartridge pushing out, as soon as i tighten it down fully, atleast a 1/4 of the seal pushes out past the housing...

it was leaking oil from there the last time i drove it... and the oil filter was recently replaced...

Im having the same problem, it is the thin o-ring, and it has no channel. Hoping someone can help us.........Help..... =)

hmm...big...thin.

If I try to twist the cap back down I've done it....applying a lil oil to the rings as you seat the cap straight down...no twisting?
