Oil Change

As I was pouring oil in the funnel the aluminum foil from the oil container poured out and into the spout. I took the oil pump off to try and find it but unsuccessful.

Has this happened to anyone and if so what did you do to track down the aluminum foil to get it out.

Thanks,

Andreas

Did you physically see it go into the oil spot. Those things are sneaky. It might be in your oil container. I can't see it making it very far into the engine as you likely stopped pouring right away. We've all had close calls with that I'm sure. I've grabbed a few as they fell into the very large funnel I use. LOL Take your time and think like a piece of aluminum floating and sticking to the most obscure location. Good Luck!

I seen it pour into the spout so I just bought a borescope and a long grabber to hopefully find the piece. Next time I do an oil change I’ll be sure to use a funnel with a metal strainer to avoid these problems. Thank you! I will update you if I find it
