new to seadoo

I have a 1996 Seadoo Sportster and on one of the engines where the shaft goes out to the impeller, there is no rubber boot and no way to attach one. It looks like there is something missing at the back end where it goes out of the boat where the shaft exits. Can anyone help?

did you just get the boat...sounds like, your missing the "accordian boot", and if so, either pull the pump or the motor, to get one over the shaft, along with the carbon ring....take a pic, and be better description.:cheers:
