New Guy With a Few Questions

1. My 1996 XP runs great but at full throttle seems to cut in and out at times. What could cause this?

2. I replace my rectifier and battery cables and now my jet ski will not do its "double beep" when i start it. It still starts tho. What do you guys think?

3. I took my VTS out and just adjusted it by hand. It feels tight will that move around though when i'm riding?

"at full throttle seems to cut in and out at times. What could cause this?"

Could be air in the fual lines, the water separator cups will allow air into the fuel system if the o-ring is in bad shape or the cup isn't inslalled tight enough. Sometimes the cup will crack.

Also, those gray fuel lines turn to goo as theu react to the fuel and the goo gets into the carburetors and plugs them up, so if those are still original fuel lines then most likely you need to rebuild the carburetors.

A lean condition commonly leads to engine damage, so don't run your ski around hoping the problem fixes itself, first fic the problem before something expensive happens.

Concerning the double beep, has the beeper device gone bad? This can happen.
