Need impeller, would a 97 spx work?

Have found someone close by parting out a 97spx 787 and was wondering if the pump would be the same as my 93 xp 587? I assume the impeller is part of the pump?

Can positively say but I'm pretty sure the the 97SPX used the plastic pump with bronze vanes with an extension and the 93XP used the all aluminum old style pump. So That said, no, there not the same. If your looking just to steal the impeller from the spx pump for your xp pump, No idea if that'll fit into your pump, sorry maybe someone else can tell you. Hope this Helps
