Lol Ive had a few drinks, but lord does your post really complicated, your spelling is crazy! But you have busted your impeller if I've understood correctly! Ask the fellas around here. But you sure do have one nice ski! Take care of it!!!!!!!' :) welcome to the forum !

Yeh I know I typed that out in the 5mins I had befor going to work so you think my engine is ok then

i'm sorry I can't follow the post at all, made my head hurt.

This is what I gathered. FYI I don't know anything about 4tecs so this is mainly so other folks get some clarification and can help.

1. Started in shallow water
a. sucked up rock
b. Ski filled with water
2. Water and rock removed
a. Started and ran rough
b. Pulled plugs after first start and put wd40 down holes
c. Cranked until water is all out
3. Fired again and still runs rough
4. Need wear ring and impeller
a. Dealer wants an ass ton to do it
5. How do you change both?

Punctuation my friend.... It makes your story difficult to understand.

But I have encountered a similar problem & yes you are probably going to need a new wear ring. Check the impeller for nicks, holes, damage, etc. I took mine to the dealer to get it replaced, soo I don't know how to replace it myself.

But there are some good guides online & people on the forum that can help.

Thx for the post and help suke that about says it all
I have a new impeller and wear ring coming
now I just want to know if my engine will be ok after the wd40 and water

I know...you wanna know if you really fckd up....gotta wait till the end for the answer.

1...sucked up a rock. Okay...you know you fckd up there..wont happen again.
2...turned the ski over...for how long?. Okay...you know you fckd up there....won't do it again.

Pullin the prop ain't no big deal...need a prop removal tool..dunno what size for your ski...prolly an Allen socket...mines a 12mm..yours?...dunno. Read up on the freezer method for ring removal. Ain't no big deal to handle both these projects...first time, maybe 2hrs...3hrs tops.

Hydro-locking the motor....big time fck up. You ain't alone...happens to most of at one time or another for various reasons. You've pulled the plugs and cranked the motor...got water to shoot out? Here's what you don't want to happen...water to contaminate your oil...water in oil for a period of time and corroding internals. Means it's time to change you oil/filter...repeatedly till oil comes out clear. You also wanna make sure there is no water anywhere in your air intake system.

Now the part comes to what you wanted to know...did you hurt something. Once your oil/air is clean...prop new ring installed...with your plugs in...fire it up.

You'll know in a few secs if you bent something.

My bet...once it's all back together and clean...it'll be fine.
