I was docking my 'doo when, at the last second, I noticed part of my dock had rot away exposing a metal bracket. Sure enough this is exactly where my seadoo hit. This will be my first repair and I have no idea how to go about fixing it. I am an excellent handyman but I have no experience with boats. Any help will be much appreciated. The fiberglass that has been exposed has not been damaged and is still hard and strong. I think all I have to repair is whatever the surface material is covering the fiberglass. Here are some pics. Its a '94 GTX. Thanks in advance!

Go and buy yourself a gelcoat repair kit. These normally come with instructions.

The only issue might be colour, if white the kits are standard (not 100% sure from your photos). Otherwise you will need to mix some pigment in to match the colour (not so easy).

Good luck!

The seadoo is white. Can this kit be bought at a Bombardier dealer? Or should it be ordered from Gelcote International?
