Have a 1999 GTX limited 947 carb model that i am working on and was running fine...just rebuilt the engine. It sat in my driveway for a couple days and now I am getting nothing from it. Good battery, nothing happens when key is installed, display does not come on if you hit the starter button twice, no beeps at all. checked all connections and fuses and everything checked out. The Mpem is getting battery voltage via connector #2 and the engine will turn over if you jump the starter solenoid.
Only thing that happen while it sat on the driveway was a very bad storm and we had some very close lightning strikes....could a near by lighting strike kill the MPEM? of just bad timing and it was its time to give out.
don't see that i missed checking anything, please advise if i should look at something else as a solution.
thanks
