Hi,

1995 Seadoo Challenger with twin 717 Rotax. Great day toodlein at the lake with the lady.

She noticed smoke from her side of the exhaust. Driver side had smoke too, but visibly less.

Any concern or ideas?

Also the oil hose attacked to the bottom of the 2 stroke oil feeds the rotary valve, correct?

And the tube coming out of the top feeds the carb intakes, correct? Is this one fed via vacuume ? What pumps this oil feed to the intake pumps?

Or am I was off?

Should be 2 lines coming off the bottom of the oil tank, 1 larger one that goes to the rotary valve and 1 smaller one that will have an oil filter in the line, and goes to the oil pump. The line that goes to the top of the oil tank is the vent line from the rotary valve. Can you drive it with the lid up to look for leaking exhaust?

Ahhh ok i see the 2 lines out the bottom.
And the one with the filter.

Ahh ok the rotary valve vent line, cool.

I will drive with the cover off and see if there is an exhaust leak. I think you may be onto something here since i did notice some smoke in the transom when I checked yestdrday while on the lake.
