Mirror gauge pods

So I've seen many seadoos online with gauges in the mirrors and I want to do the same on my 2006 rxt. I found a guy on eBay that sells the "gauge pods" whitch looks like a sheet of plexi glass cut to the size of the mirror and two holes cut for the gauges. I took apart my mirrors to see if I can do it myself and it doesn't make sense how it's done. No one offers an installation guide and I can't find any threads on it. If anyone knows please put a link or some pictures that would be great.

Can't help you on the mirror pods. I looked into it and it was too complex and pointless to me. I ended up just going the glove box cover pod route myself.
