those UTI school are expensive, if your interested. i wanted to do auto mechanics and it was like 20k for 2 years, so ended up not going. but they are the BEST mechanical schools in the nation.
Sorry I didn't clarify. What I mean by "news" is by experience from graduates, rumors from friends or family graduates, or any third party information because obviously any teacher, recruiter, or staff at MMI will tell me it's the best school in the nation.
There is a decent school in Newfoundland (Canada) for this - College of the North Atlantic. They have a two-year Small Equipment Service Technician program and their graduates seem to do pretty well (some working for multinationals like John Deere, various recreational products dealerships, or starting their own repair shops).
