I have a '95 XP and a '92 XP. The '95 XP's trim (VTS) is not working. I've isolated the problem to the module. Apparently this is a very common problem with these Seadoos. A new module is around $200 on eBay.
My '92 XP has the manual XTS. It works great, although it can be a little slow to adjust. Has anyone attempted to convert an electronic XTS to a manual? Looking at the 1992, it doesn't seem too complicated, although I'd have to cut out a hole in the hull to install the knob (and of course find one to install). With a manual trim, I'd never have to worry about the module going out again.
