I have a 02 gtx di 951 and it would only rev to 6400- 6450 rpm and only 38 mph. Replaced wear ring and no change did compression test and had 85 on front cylinder and 120 on the back. Am I in for a rebuild or is it time to sale?

That’s up to you if you want to sell it or keep it
Ultimately though you will need to rebuild the entire engine, not just the top end. The cranks only last around 200 hours and won’t handle a new top end.

Ok well a new engine is 1700 and that's definitely not doable so looks like I'm rebuilding or selling it.

SES also does it for about $1000 according to their website but at this rate you likely wouldn't have it back by summer. Not sure what their turn around is.
