My starter relay has a brown-colored base and red wiring connections. It has two posts (to which red wires are attached) and one connector (which probably comes from the starter switch).
One large red wire is attached to each of the two posts. One coming from the + battery terminal. The other going to the starter.
To bypass the starter relay, can I "jump" the two posts (using a screwdriver)?
I want to see if the starter will turn over when the starter relay is bypassed. Is this the correct way of doing it?
