It is strongly not recomended, however IF the output of the jumper pack is around 12-13V, you can use it. Any output higher than that will fry the electronics inside (specifically the voltage regulator (located inside the grey box) In case you're wondering, you can use a car battery to jump start it, but the host vehicle CANNOT BE RUNNING. (when the vehicle is running, it produces 13-15V instead of 12-13V) it doesn't sound like much of a difference, but beleive me, its enough to dammage the electronics.
