Jet ski won't start just clicks

Ok got 96 sea doo xp all it does is click I have put new battery and new starter relay can't figure this problem out if any ideas let me know ASAP thanks everyone!!!

Pull the spark plugs and the PTO cover and make sure you can turn the engine over by hand. IF you can jump the two large copper posts on the relay with a screwdriver and see if it cranks. If it still does not it is the starter. Check all positive and negative cables for tight and clean connections. If you determine it is the starter and it is the factory white one rebuild it. They are much better than the black aftermarket ones.

Yes, your symptom suggests a bad starter. Remove, and disassemble & clean it. It may have worn brushes.

It could just be jammed, but I would as well see if you can turn it over by hand and go from there.
