Hello All, I was wondering if anyone has a part number for the lip seal for the Jet pump. (293200065 267000094). I am looking for a part number that is not a Seadoo number so I can purchase the lip seal locally. I don't think the metal parts are stainless steel but I want OEM quality. I have a OEM seal on order just in case I can't find one. I can pull the seal and measure but some of this stuff is proprietary and not a standard size. Help would be appreciated.

If I persist in working on these skis, which is probably a given, I am going to get part numbers for many of the readily available parts, like o-rings and lip seals. I believe that lip seal is nothing special but it is not worth taking the chance. I am changing it because it feels a stiff. I'm sure it would work but... I'm right there and can change it out pretty easy. That's how I roll. :)

If you have a specialty bearing shop like I do in my city it makes it easier to find alternates, I found that most sizes on doos are metric. I always used to source aftermarket parts for my vehicles, but using the oem parts has always been much better for me.

I've owned and repaired seadoo's since 1993ish. Trust me, it's not worth the savings on o-rings/seals. I've worked in a machine shop/machine manufacturing industry for the last 23 years, I have access to ANYTHING I could possibly need/want. It's not worth the time or money for me to research a $3 o-ring that I know only costs $0.50. Bearings I will get at my local supplier IF they are EXACTLY like the OEM bearing, but even with that the dealer is usually a $1 or $2 cheaper but the supplier can have it the next day if needed no extra charge for me. Start shopping on ebay for OEM parts in bulk, that is time and money much better spent. Like I said......not worth the time You just have to be smart and ask teh seller for a combined shipping BEFORE you buy.

Not the money but being held up 4 days at a shot. I have great resources that can get anything that is not proprietary. I give them the sizes, they find it at the cheapest prices. I'd just like to have a little stash or access to repeat items and extras. Of course, I am learning what I need before hand which is helpful.

Just do what I do..... At the end of summer every year I have a small stash of money from working on skis and other B.S. I then place an order for most commonly needed OEM parts to Pro Caliber and maybe a few odds and ends and now I have a pretty good back stock of OEM parts like bearings, carb gaskets, starter solenoids etc. Nice to have in the middle of summer when something goes down.

What is the best way to remove that seal? I know I can get it out of there but I'm sure there is a preferred method? :)
