islandia oil reservoir

The small oil reservoir on the top of the engine is leaking oil out of the top of the cap on the reservoir when engine is running can somebody help me.

jeremia272005, what year boat do you have? I've been looking in the parts section to see if there is a gasket or something but I do need to know what year you are talking about.

I am going to have to assume that you are talking about a mercury powered boat??? The small oil reservoir cap has a gasket to keep it air tight. Make sure it is in place, and in good shape.

Make sure you add your year, and engine of your Islandia to your information.
