Recently my Seadoo GTX 260 SC 2014 almost sunk and the back end filled with water (by the battery and the waterbox and resonator) also the pump failed. I was told that it could've took on water becuse of the following reasons: Carbon Seal, Resonator Melting, and because the bearings broke. But I have also found maybe another way water could've come in and I wanted a second opinion. In the picture, the black piece is normally on the side by the jet pump and 2 bolts that hold the ibr go into it. Recently when putting the ibr on a small piece broke off, could this have let water in? (I circled the side with the nub still there and the side where it broke off) (I have also put in pictures from when we sprayed water into the hull and it came out of that hole)
Would this Allow enough water into the hull for it to start sinking?
