Thought I would post this here so other Michiganers can chime in.
I just recently picked up a 2001 RX DI and wanted to insure it. My normal insurer (who I insure my boat with under homeowners policy) is Grange. They don't touch high CC (951) Jet Ski's, so I ended up going with Progressive, and switching my boat and the jetski in one policy.
My question is, what do you guys pay for insurance a year, or do you even bother with insurance?
Mine ended up at $233 for the year for both crafts. I will honestly say I am more worried about the tow and someone hitting the back than while I am in the water.
Also, does anyone know of a good mechanic around SE michigan. Don't need one now but would like to have a name and number.
