Injection oil tank

I've got a 1997 Seadoo GTX. I recently converted to pre mix. My oil tank is a leaker and I know that I have to maintain oil feed to the crankcase. I think I read that it provides an oil bath for the rotary valve. My question is, can I remove my oil tank an replace it with something like a auto clutch fluid reservoir?

You sure can. Just make sure you keep an eye on the level.

Can I ask why you want to remove the oil injection?

I pulled my tank a couple years back and plastic welded the seam with a soldering iron . Has not leaked since

yes, you can use a fluid reservoir, I had a friend do it and it worked perfectly, he'd just check the levels frequently and added some oil if it got below half full. I actually used a simple T fitting and checked it every other ride, but I didn't really have any leaks so it wasn't a problem for me.
