If it is not one thing it's another

I have a 2005 seadoo le di and i was crusing along at 20 mph when all of a sudden i get a vibration.I slow down and putz all the way home when i get close to home i give it some gas to see what happens and all it does is revs out.I check the impeller when i got it on shore and it looks good no nicks or stuff stuck in it. I was out in the middle of the lake and i didn't suck anything up into it that i know of. Does a wear ring just go all of a sudden? This boat is becoming most annoying last week it was the voltage regulator that stopped me from enjoying the weekend.
