Hello all. My name is Jason. I'm from ft lauderdale Florida and I recently acquired a 2009 seadoo rxt 255 is. Its a real machine. While tearing into it I dropped a bolt into this pipe. As far as I can tell it does not lead to the intake manifold. In fact from what i can tell ts a loose pipe and leads to the front of the ski by the controls. I did find the intake box and its a separate pipe entirely. I want to know where this pipe goes and if its cool to fire up my ski after dropping the bolt in there. Im pretty mechanical, just don't wanna make a stupid mistake.

Good morning where you dropped the bolt is the air intake. It won’t do any harm in there. The bolt will be half way along that pipe now. If you really want it out you will need to take top deck off then unscrew the air pipe where it fits on the front of the ski. Lot of work??. Just leave it till you need to take top deck off for some other work that needs doing. Am sure it won’t be long till that happens.. Don’t worry you will be fine..
