I have a seadoo gts 717 engine is leaking oil

Seadoo gts 2001 717 engine changed the oil lines but still leaks 2 stroke oil in to the hull when started up but can not see we’re the oil leaking from eney help comes form the bottom somewhere

90% of the time it is a bad oil tank seam and/or rubber grommets. 10% of the time it is the hose clamps cut the oil hoses on either side of the engine block.

We’re on the engine can it leak from plz

The two fittings for the rotary valve cavity. One is just above the starter under the exhaust and the other is under the intake manifold, both are about the middle of the engine front to back.

I just had the same problem with my 717 what works best is to take a video on your phone with the flash on and put your phone into the hull under the exhaust and under the carbs and just scan around the engine this makes it much easier than pulling things off and not knowing where it is.

Thank u cheflen I have the engine out for the second time now do u think the new pipes I fitted can cause the oil to leak if I have put the rong hose clips on I put jubilee clips on them

I have found it you don't get them tight enough they will leak over time but too tight it can cut the hose. It's a fine balance.
