You turn the driveshaft two full turns to the right....clockwise...before trying to pull it out? all c-clips? Got a drive shaft wrench?...adapter? Some find it easier to remove the clips with pump still in the boat. Last edited by a moderator: Sep 27, 2015

red2blue New Member Sep 27, 2015 #6 you must unscrew the shaft from the hex ring. Prolly be better to get some help to hold the wrench while you turn the shaft at the tunnel.
