Morning all,

Another question about my '98 GS. It needs a proper cleaning. I washed it yesterday and covered every surface but it has some mold or mildew on the hand grips and the seat. What is an effective but safe way to clean this grime away? I understand it is a watercraft and this stuff shows up from time to time. What is the best way to clean it and is there something I can treat it with to keep it in good shape? I keep it covered and out of direct sun most of the time as that can ruin anything but this craft is in very good condition and I'd like to keep it that way as much as possible.

Try some simple green and a scrub brush. I that doesn't work Starbrite Mildew Stain Remover works great just follow the directions exactly.

for the mold i've had good luck with Tilex bathroom cleaner. I don't like to leave it on the seats near the stitching as i've been told that it will contribute to premature rot on the threads, but as far as getting that black crap off I haven't found anything that works better.

I haven't heard about any pre-treatment methods but i'd be interested if somebody knew about something.
