How to attach bolts to cockpit?

The base of my cockpit has come loose. Looks like there are 3 bolts with flat heads on them.
Does anyone know how these are attached?
I would think they were glued but I don't see any glue.
Almost looks like the bolt was heated up then melted in to the plastic?
I can pop the head of the bolt in to the plastic but a little force pops them back out.
And when they are popped in to place the bolts don't quite align with the holes.
Other thought would be some heavy duty magnet?

Any input would be appreciated.

I ended up trying to glue (gorilla gel glue) the bolts to the dash since I didn't want a gap due to width of the magnet. But did run in to a problem where the bolts when glued flat in to place did not line up with the holes on the cockpit. I managed to get 2 of the bolts in but the 3rd one popped off. For that one I ended up glue-ing a heavy duty magnet to the dash and then had to glue a fender washer to the bolt (stainless steel doesn't work with magnets). The side with the magnet glued in to place and fender washer does end up leaving a gap between the dash and the cockpit. I may put a piece of weather stripping in there at some point but does seem to be doing the trick. Ended up working out in the long run as I put a bluetooth adapter in for the radio and was able to run the remote wire through that gap.
