How many amps does the alternator/stator on a 1994 XP (657x) output?

I was recently given an old 94 XP that had a blown engine. While I was waiting for parts I wanted to put a stereo on it. The amplifier I am looking at draws 8 amps at max output but averages around 6 amps. I don't plan on adding anything else electrical to the build. Should I be fine adding this stereo or should I try and find one with less current draw? And how many amps does it output so if I do decide to add anything in the future I will know what the limit is?

Won’t work at all. These don’t have an alternator like a car. All the have is a charge coil that barely makes enough power to keep the little battery charged.
