I’m wondering if anyone could post or has some photos of all the water and vent line routing for a 90 bombardier gt. I have the manual but it’s not very clear. Thanks

These pics are from my '91 XP as I recall the 1990 is similar. Which lines are you wondering about?

Thanks for the reply. The engine I removed had a water outlet in the cylinder head. The engine I installed doesn’t have the nipple for it so I am left with an “extra” hose. I do have the old engine still so is it necessary to have/ swap head cover? Also in the second photo, the hose that’s in the upper right does that for to the battery?

In photot #2 above the hose at the top right (closest to the top at the stern) connects to the oil tank vent on my machine. The main water outlet from the cylinder head is right by the carburators, you can see part of it right in the center of the attached photo under the plate that supports the carbs. Not sure why there is that smaller additional hose on the top of the head on some motors, maybe to give a bit more circulation at the front on the other side - ? There is no battery vent connection on mine. This motor is actually a swap from a '90 SP and while I was careful to label all the hoses it is possible something might be misrouted.

Ok so the hose with the green clamp goes to the one way vent on the oil reservoir? That’s where I had it originally then I saw somewhere that it was supposed to go to the battery vent. As for the valve cover I’m not really sure what to do.

Yep, that's right. Not sure what to say about the valve cover, the head bolts came out fine on the blown motor that was originally in that machine, but it is fresh water around here.

The head bolts from my junk motor were perfect and it was a saltwater motor. The new motor is fresh water from new and I attempted to break one free and it felt like it might break. . I might try and heat them up and just go for it. Again thanks for the help
