Horrible cavitation issues

I have an 08 rxp255 that’s having some bad cavitation. Anything under under 20-30mph wide open throttle goes straight to the rev limiter. I’ve got the pump off and all looks good with .010 clearance on the wear ring and no gouges or anything. The ski doesn’t leak water into the hull so I don’t the carbon seal is causing it. The pump seal seems to be good but will replace it when putting everything back together. Is there anything I’m missing that could cause my issues?

Try the factory impeller. I tried a Solas on my 08 155, and it was weird . Loss my out of the hole launch, but over reved the rpms, with less top end. It was like the worst of everything. You my have another issue though, just a thought.

I had bad cavitation in my 2000 Sea-Doo GTX.
The sealant behind the jet pump and impeller was gone in most places in there.
I just fixed it yesterday and haven’t tried it out yet.
I also cleaned up and smooth out the whole area in front of the intake great and the intake grade itself and everything going up to the jet pump.
I’m sure it’ll be much better now.
