Having issues starting seadoo, I put in new battery, new spark plugs, and light comes on an beeps gas levels show, but no turn over at all, I looked in the electric box and it's all rusted and wondering if this is the problem? And if it's easy enough for a woman to fix? I have attached a picture, after watching utub videos I'm not sure but maybe star solenoid or the starter button itself? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks J20200717_172325.jpg

You said you are getting two beeps. Is anything clicking when you press the start button? Those two small red wires are going into a fuse block. Unplug it and check the fuse inside. You can take a pair of pliers or a screwdriver.... I use an old pair of pliers and make contact accross the two large red wires. The starter should turn the engine over when you do that.

Thanks so much I will give that a try and see if I have any luck! That would be nice if it was just a fuse! And yes I get the beeper when I put the key on and dash stuff comes on as well! Also should I clean off the rust from water sitting in the elec box? Anything better to clean it with? Thanks so much for your help - fingers crossed! Have a super weekend!

The rust on the plastic is of no consequence. I'd just wipe it with a damp rag or something. Rust means it got wet which isn't good news. I'd make sure everthing is good and dry. and the attachment points for the wires are clean. A little emery cloth or sand paper will do the trick. Good contact is important.

If the Solenoid isn't clicking, you have find out why. Checking power to the solenoid, the small plug in is the first thing. You could have a bad start stop button or other issue preventing the power from getting to the solenoid. Good Luck !
