It's pretty straightforward if you follow the manual. If you don't have the proper Seadoo tool that automatically determines the depth to press the bearing (or seals) to, then just measure the depth often to get it at the right position.
I'm not sure if yours is the same as my gsx ltd but when I changed the pump bearings I was able to use the shaft as a "tool" to install the bearings. You have to be carefull as they are a caged roller bearing and can't take a direct hit to drive them in without supporting the inside. If you look up the correct tool for the job it looks like a short shaft, it keeps the inside from falling apart.
that being said, use care and caution when removing the old ones so you don't score the inside of the carrier. I put my bearings in the freezer, then prelubed the case and did one side at a time as quick as I could , out of the freezer right in before they warm up. Hope this helps.
